regulation [re̱gjʊle͟ɪʃ(ə)n] an official rule that controls how something is done правило, норма Regulations are rules made by a government or other authority in order to control the way something is done or the way people behave.

obligation [ɒ̱blɪge͟ɪʃ(ə)n] something that you do because it is your duty or because you feel you have to обязанность, долг If you have an obligation to do something, it is your duty to do that thing. If you have an obligation to a person, it is your duty to look after them or protect their interests.
